In 2017, the company underwent capital restructuring and transformed into Australian SGM Crops Pty Ltd. In 2022, SGM entered the Chinese market and established a wholly-owned subsidiary, SGM (Shanghai) Chemical Trading Co., Ltd., which is primarily responsible for importing and selling SGM’s product series as well as imported products from other affiliated companies, while also providing related technical consulting and services.
The company collaborated with government departments to research, develop, and produce agricultural fertilizers, promoting fertilizers and fertilization techniques to farmers and agricultural operators. It has accumulated advanced technologies particularly in the fields of liquid fertilizers, soil conditioners, and microbial agents.
